What is fumpr? fumpr is the world's fastest and easiest image host. There is no registration required and it is 100% free.

How does it work? Easy. Just browse for an image file on your computer and click on the really big upload button. You can also click on "remote" and paste in an image's URL in the field. Either way, you'll be provided with a fast loading image and some easy ways to share your image on the internet.

This seems very generous, why are you doing this? We need friends.

Who sees my images? The ONLY way someone will see your image is if you share the link with them. If you want the image for yourself, don't share the link. If you only want one person to see it, then give them and only them the provided link. We can't however promise that that person will keep it a secret, and if if they decide to share it with everyone on the internet, then maybe you need to find a new friend.

How long are my images stored? Forever.

What type of images are allowed? .JPG, .PNG, .BMP, and .GIF up to 3.0mb are allowed. We will eventually allow additional filetypes and larger sizes in the future. In terms of content, anything is allowed, unless it is deemed illegal and or inappropriate by applicable law. In that case, your image will be permanantly removed.

What if I want one of images deleted? Remember, if you keep your image to yourself nobody will see it. But if someone uploaded an embarassing picture of you from your 21st birthday, then click on the "Contact or Report" link at the bottom and email us the link. We'll take care of it. If someone reports and image to us, without reason to the original uploader we will permanantly remove the image.

Why would I use fumpr? To easily and quickly share an image via email, chat, social network, message board (forum), or just to have a backup copy stored on the internet just in case. Even if you share an image only once and then forget about it, it's perfectly fine.

Do you allow hotlinking? Yes and no. To check out the full resolution (original) image, you'll have to view it on fumpr. But we do allow you to post the automatically created thumbnail on forums or your own site, which links to the original image on fumpr. We've made sure to get rid of the clunky interfaces that almost all other image hosts have so the user who wants to view your image will have the best experience.

How does the fumpr bookmarklet work? In Firefox, drag the "fumpr bookmarklet!" link at the top of fumpr to your address bar. Then, go to a site with an image that you want fumpr to store. Click on your new bookmarklet, and like magic a new tab will be opened with all of the images of the previous web page you were on. Click on the image you want hosted and presto! fumpr will automatically provide you with the hosted links. Please note, this is currently in beta and will be adding more functionality and support for it in the future.
